Privacy Policy

The short version: LockaliZ does not sell your data. We share your location only inside your own circle. We use no advertising trackers, no analytics, and no third-party data brokers.

1. Who we are

LockaliZ ("we", "us") is the publisher of the LockaliZ mobile application. Contact: vulia.contact@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

Profile: first name, last name (or alias), avatar emoji or photo, optional date of birth.
Location: latitude/longitude, periodically refreshed while the app runs (foreground or background).
Group code: the 6-character invite code linking you to your circle.
Device identifier: anonymous ID generated locally, used only for sync.

3. Data we do not collect

No advertising identifier (IDFA).
No analytics, no crash trackers, no third-party SDKs that profile you.
No call logs, contacts, photos other than the avatar you pick.

4. How we use your data

Display your live position on your circle members' map.
Trigger zone-entry / zone-exit alerts.
Sync zones and rules between devices in the same circle.

5. Storage & retention

Data is stored on Firebase (Google Cloud) in the EU/US regions. You can leave a group at any time, which removes your data from that group within 24h. Account deletion is immediate and permanent.

6. Sharing

Your location is visible only to other members of your circle. We never share data with advertisers, brokers, or third parties.

7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You may request access, correction or deletion of your data anytime by emailing vulia.contact@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

8. Children

LockaliZ is rated 4+. Children under 13 must use the app under parental supervision and within a family-managed circle.

9. Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed via RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment details.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, the "Last updated" date will reflect that. Substantial changes will be announced inside the app.
